Progetto co-finanziato nell’ambito del Justice Programme 2014-2020
Durata: 2 ottobre 2017 – 1° marzo 2021

The European platform for the access to personal and familial rights (EPAPFR) aims to help any person facing difficulties related to private international law issues on family matters in Europe (EU) by encouraging coordination and collaboration of legal, medical and social systems on Member States’ territory, whether they are associative or institutional entities.
This project is part of European Union Justice Programme, established for the period 2014-2020. The Justice Programme finances actions having a European added value, which contribute to the further development of a European judicial area.
The project EPAPFR supports the implementation of European instruments for private international law of the family and consists on putting in contact services for access to laws specialized in private international law, working closely with the end-users (persons concerned) in order to facilitate effective access to justice in the relevant field, to promote the training of professionals, to increase end-users’ awareness, to encourage exchange of experiences and good practices between institutional actors coming from different Member States.
Among the project activities, the realisation of a questionnaire is envisaged, whose dissemination is supported by the establishment of technical committees at national level. Its members are invited to discuss, exchange views, comment and raise questions, in accordance with the topics addressed in each working group.
